Creative images in the form of 3-D now are very popular in Europe. It is enough hard to make interesting picture on the asphalt to be not flat. It is necessary to create a reverse perspective, to put the shadows correctly and pick the right colors. So the problem, as authors say, is not the easiest, and only camera usually helps.
Who didn’t paint in childhood chalk drawings on pavement among of us? I think practically everybody. But such artists as Julian Beaver, Kurt Wenner, Edgar Mueller, Tracy Lee Stum raised to a qualitatively new level enough democratic form of art that seems to be a quite simple – 3d paintings and 3d street art illusions. From a certain point their drawings look bulky and tangible, giving passers positive, absolutely for free :-)
Usually creating of three-dimensional pavement art images can take several days, that’s why authors work in small groups to make real masterpiece.
“This is a hard process, where we need a precise mathematical calculation” – says street painters.
Using crayons, paints, special techniques of distortion and tilt artists created 3d street art illusions. At a certain angle, the image becomes three-dimensional and palpable.
