100 years ago Maud Adams – one of the greatest actresses of her time took part in Edmond Rostand’s «Chantecler» in the Knickerbocker Theatre on Broadway. It was her second most favorite role after “Peter Pan”. And compared to this role, her Peter Pan costume looked too conservative, because Miss Adams played… a cock!
